Revising High Street Living: A 8-Bedroom HMO transformation from a terrace townhouse.

At 114, we undertook a comprehensive transformation of a terrace townhouse into an 8-bedroom HMO to enhance its functionality whist keeping to an aesthetic appeal.

This project encompassed the following key elements:

• Three Storey Infill Extension: We expertly executed a three-storey infill extension, seamlessly integrating it with the existing structure. This addition provided significant extra space, enhancing the overall living area of the property.
• Rear and Flank Fenestration Alterations: Our team reimagined the rear and flank fenestration, optimizing natural light and improving the building’s external appearance. These changes not only modernized the property but also contributed to energy efficiency.
• Roof Light Installation: We installed a new roof light into the rear roof slope, brightening the interior spaces with natural daylight and creating a more open and inviting atmosphere.
• New Rear Dormer Window: A new rear dormer window was added, enhancing the property’s usability and providing additional headroom and floor space in the upper levels.
• Conversion to HMO Property: We converted the property into an 8-Bedroom House in Multiple Occupation (HMO), optimizing its layout to accommodate multiple tenants comfortably and efficiently. This included upgrading facilities and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Focus on Tenants: The entire property features ensuites for all bedrooms creating comfort and security for all tenants. All shared facilities like the kitchen include multiple sinks and cooking stoves allowing for easier access and use for multiple tenants.
